I'd like to present to you all some Team Green Instrumentals from 2007. I put some wack ones wit some pretty nice ones. I also threw in some remixes as well. Kinda shows how far along we've come in time, and also reminds me that there's still room to grow. Crazy how you think you're so hot at that moment, shows how important growth and time really is.

Train Like LT Nike Commercial (Music Score By Team Green) Could It Be A Curse?

Now there's a long story behind these commercials.

First off, the main idea for the music came from Taurean, then Concept and myself added to it. This all happened around March. Shawty Redd then heard the track and recorded over it. Then LT (LaDainian Tomlinson, Running Back for the San Diego Chargers) hits up Redd and tells him about his ad campaign with Nike and he wants a track like "Sexual Eruption" for the commercial. (He's living on the West Coast so I can see why...)

So Shawty Redd goes in and records the Train Like LT track. This all takes place a month or so after the track we all made was done. After that I hear nothing from it at all... Then all the sudden I'm browsing one of my fave sites (http://www.futureproducers.com/) and I see a thread about a Nike Commercial featuring LT and Kimbo Slice, and to my amazement the song we made MONTHS AGO is on there!

Taurean calls me and confirms it and whatnot. But then I begin to think...

LT: Picked to be the top RB in the NFL before the season started.

Kimbo: His stardom was growing bigger and bigger everyday, many thought he would be the next MMA superstar.

Here's why I think the commcercials might have a "Madden" like curse.

LT: LT got off to a slow start, not having a 100-yard rushing performance until week 4 against the Oakland Raiders while having averaged just 3.3 yards per carry the first 3 weeks. Many experts began to throw out questions as to whether Tomlinson was beginning to loose his legs and maybe indeed needed to participate in the preseason games before the regular season. He only has seven TD's and 885 rushing yards so far this season, way below his season averages and his team is 5-8. No playoffs this year.... :-(

Kimbo: He was a sensation across the globe, his internet fame pretty much led to him being in these Nike commercials. But, after the commercials he fought Seth Petruzelli On October 4, 2008. Slice agreed to take the fight after receiving a raise in pay, and took in $500,000. Petruzelli defeated Slice by TKO in 14 seconds into the first round of the bout.

All of these unfortunate events happened AFTER they shot the commercials!

So in conclusion, I appreciate the opportunity that we had to score these commercials, but at the same time, did Team Green play a role in the cursing two of my favorite superstars??!!?!?!

It Has Begun....

Greetings! Most likely if you’ve made it this far into this thing, you either already know me and want to get to know more about me; or it could be the complete opposite. Who’s to judge right?

Well periodically, (hopefully frequently) I’ll be posting on this blog. What might the content of my posts be you might ask; Expect to get updates from Team Green, news, info, advice, things that catch my attention, an occasional rant from time to time.

Hopefully you all will enjoy the blog as much as I do. I want this thing is to be hot for everyone; producers whether upcoming or established, sneaker heads, fashion freaks, yuppies, thugs, people young and old, etc etc…

BUT this thing is can only be as hot you want it to be! Be active, post comments, give me ideas, tell me what you want me blog about!
